I stand by the shore, at the water I stare
Sinking deep into the sea, I crave for air
In the hot summers, a cold breeze I seek
In winters, I long for sun’s rays warm and meek
As a kid, I wish to be a man one day
As an old man, I wish as a kid I stay
As a loner, I dream of being a famous face
At the height of attention, I long for personal space
Noon, I long for the sun to yawn
Midnight, I sleep awaiting a new dawn
The grass is always greener on the other side
